Meet the Founder: The Engineer Who Engineered His Dreams

Galaxy Auto Works is more than a luxury automotive workshop — it’s the expression of one man’s lifelong obsession with engineering, innovation, and speed.

Mr. Jitendra Dhuru, a Mechanical Engineer by qualification and a visionary by instinct, is the founder behind the legacy. With an unmatched passion for machines and movement, Mr. Dhuru’s journey spans over 39 years across Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Civil, and Electronics domains — where he didn’t just follow trends, he created them.

In 1987, long before “Make in India” became a movement, he continued his father’s Foundry , Genuine Engineering Works, crafting India’s first Mobile AC gas Recovery , Recycling and Service machines , Mobile Oil immersed high vacuum pump and special-purpose machinery – all designed and manufactured with indigenous brilliance. His innovations became critical to sectors ranging from HVAC to Infrastructure , earning him industry-wide respect.

Yet, engineering alone couldn’t contain his ambition.

Fuelled by a raw love for high-speed drag racing cars, vintage car restoration, and bespoke automotive design, Mr. Dhuru founded Galaxy Auto Works — a playground where engineering excellence meets automotive passion. Today, Galaxy is where Porsche , Lamborghinis, Bentleys, and timeless classics are revived, redefined, and respected.

But his impact doesn’t stop at machines. Mr. Dhuru is a mentor to many, opening the doors of his workshop to engineering and management students, turning classroom theory into real-world breakthroughs.
